The ultimate in laying timber floorboards on concrete slab
– Apply a vapour barrier to slab to prevent moisture and/or efflorescence (mineral salts) coming through concrete slab
– Trowel glue down 12mm structural ply, drill and pin to concrete substrate
– Trowel glue and lay floorboards to ply ….DONE

The floorboard used here are Tongue n groove, engineered pre-finished floorboards. These floorboards are comprised of 3 layers of solid European oak. We have put down thermoguard and corflute sheets to protect the flooring while the internal works on this extension continues.
